William Jack "Bill" Costanza Jr., 72, of Altoona, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday. He was born in Charleroi, Pa. son of William Jack Sr. and Daisy Mae (Milliken) Costanza. Bill married Phyllis Wilfong on May 29, 1971.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis; his mother, Daisy Mae Costanza; a son, Stephen (Jennifer) Costanza; a sister, Linda Bistline; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; an aunt, Cody Acuff; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a son, Joseph Michael Costanza. \
Bill was a 1964 graduate of Altoona High School. He served in the United States Navy.
He was employed at Fiore Pontiac for 40 years, Sears Automotive for a year, Bedford Chrysler for three years, and retired from Fiore Toyota.
Bill enjoyed cars, guns, Ham radio, and his beloved dog, Snowy. He was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society and the Swiss Rifle Club.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to the 8 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., with Pastor John Collins officiating. Interment will take place in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
