Best friends with Shane in Altoona, Pleasant Village, aka the project..  About 1965-70.  Not much in the way of excess back thenexecept for a lot of bonding with other kids.  Memories  include him never giving up on a fight, sharing his birthday money (unapproved) with me at Masons dept. store, his sister Carol, my mother and another mother, Carol dragging us to Riverside to apolgize for shop lifiting.  Cutting myself after he was bleeding so we could exchange blood and be 8 year old blood brothers. Not much money, but a lot of lifetime memories.  God bless, Shane.
