April 2, 1953 – Sept. 27, 2017
Barbara E. Bottenfield, 64, Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Merle J. and Doris (Baker) Grossman. She married L. Mark Bottenfield on Aug. 26, 1972, in Hollidaysburg.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Matthew M. Bottenfield (wife, Holly) of Williamsburg; a granddaughter, Kathryn Bottenfield; and her mother, Doris (Baker) Grossman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merle J. Grossman; and her sister, Pamela Anderson.
Barbara was a 1972 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. She enjoyed gardening and her two Yorkie puppies.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Pastor Ralph Hamer officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
