Obituary

Angela A. Fagnani, 99, formerly of Duncansville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Masonic Village of Sewickley, near Pittsburgh.

She was born in Italy and moved with her family at age three to California. She grew up in San Francisco where she worked as a dental assistant during her early career. She met and married Ed, a dashing B-17 Bomber pilot, in February 1944. After completing 28 missions, Ed returned home to her. He re-entered the State Police in Hollidaysburg where he was a major. They started their family and enjoyed 51 years of marriage until Ed's death in 1995.

Surviving are a son, Roger; a daughter-in-law, Layne; a daughter, Renee; a son-in-law, Wayne; four grandchildren: Mark (Stephanie), Kara, Paul (Meghan) and Elise; four great-grandchildren: Juniper, Aurora, Nolan and Margaret; and a sister, Rita, of San Jose, Calif.

In addition to her beloved husband, Edward, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Vicki, Terri and Norma.

Angela enjoyed sewing for family and friends, making everything from Renee's and Layne's wedding gowns to prize winning Halloween costumes. She was also a terrific ballroom dancer, bridge player and gardener.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2019, at the Good Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Angela's name may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
