Obituary for Oscar K "Oz" Stuckey III

Oscar  K "Oz"  Stuckey III
Oscar K. “Oz” Stuckey III, 69, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Oscar K. Stuckey II and Patricia A. (Miller) Beam. On Sept. 17, 1988, he married Margaret L. “Peggy” Rutherford, in Altoona.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy; his mother, Patricia; two daughters: Stephanie Undercofler and Heather E. Kozlov; two sons: Stephen R. Stuckey and Robert M. Drobnock and wife, Emily; six grandchildren: Chase, Klaus, Miley, Madisyn, Hannah and Alex; a sister, Cheryl D. Steiner and husband, Gary; two brothers: Patrick D. Stuckey and Richard A. Stuckey; six stepsisters: Linda Michael, Deborah O’Shell, Karen Bubier, Diane Youngblood, Beth Sheaffer and Lynnea Sirak; and a stepbrother, Darryl Beam.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his brother, Richard A. Stuckey.

Oz was a 1967 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, and served in the U.S. Army from 1967-70. He was the owner and operator of OK Stuckey & Son Printing in Altoona.

He was a life member of the VFW Duncansville Memorial Post 8724, Altoona Community Theater, Cresson Lake Playhouse, Altoona Horseshoe Chorus and Blair Concert Chorale.

He enjoyed golfing, singing, acting, playing cards, watching “Judge Judy,” and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park, where an 11 a.m. funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, Gary Steiner officiating. Interment will be held at Alto-Reste Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oz’s family.
